About the watch
LHD stands for Left Hand Drive: the crown sits on the left of the case, so the watch is comfortable on the right wrist. Tudor ties the design to the bespoke models the French Navy ordered for its left-handed divers in the 1970s. Like the standard Pelagos, it is rated to 500 m and carries a helium escape valve for saturation diving, and it keeps the square-tipped "Snowflake" hour hand used on Tudor divers' watches since 1969.
